The Irene Boham Foundation

Every person deserves an opportunity to be educated

Founded in 2017 (as the IBB Nursing Scholarship), The IBB Foundation  is a non-profit organisation with an aim to support the underprivileged in our communities.

The Irene Boham Foundation was founded by the award winning registered nurse who is passionate about supporting people in her community to improve their livelihoods. Irene is a qualified nurse, who from a humble beginning in Ghana worked her way through difficulties and challenges in Ghana in the UK developing her nursing career and now holds a Queen’s Nurse Title in the UK. Originally coming to the UK as an overseas student, Irene has always been passionate about giving back, since she had received some charitable support as a student.

The Foundation gives youngsters the deserved opportunity to continue their education to create a better future for themselves and their families. For as little as the price of a cup of tea per day, you could provide one student with much needed support.

The support enables sponsored students to complete their chosen professional courses and have better futures. By helping them through their education, you are ‘paying it forward’ so they can not only transform their own future but also build a better life for their family and their community.

Please check our Success Stories and Mentorship sections for more information on the difference we are making.
