Mentorship

Mentorship

The Foundation offers mentoring and support to students and qualified nurses home and abroad. This can take many forms, from helping them find opportunities to study and / or work in the UK or abroad. This encourages mutual professional growth between both the mentor and the mentee through a dynamic and supportive relationship

Earlier in 2022, The Foundation held a virtual mentoring session with Holy Child Past Students in the University of Ghana Legon College of Nursing. This initial session sought to explore the pathways of success for the student nurses and midwives as well as inspire them to manage all challenges they face in the course of their careers.

The Organisation, seeks to support and inspire youngsters interested in healthcare and the vocation of nursing.

In collaboration with Afia Appiah, it's been great working with these amazing University of Ghana students. It has been an incredible experience supporting the HOPSANs and future Nurse Leaders in a variety of ways. It was fantastic and a pleasure meeting the undergraduates *face to face*, together with their lecturer and clinical coordinator, Dr. (Mrs) Cecilia Eliason and reassuring to see them doing so well. Through the mentoring process, I have learned so much from them. We truly rise by lifting others. Keep up the good work ladies.
